HONMA Golf – Improved T//World-W5 wedges introduced with two new finishes debut

The leader in exquisitely crafted high-performance golf equipment distributed in Spain by DBP Golf, has introduced the improved T//World-W5 wedges, elite clubs that showcase the latest in wedge innovation and craftsmanship. The reinvented face design and sole options of the W5 create an exceptional set, along with the legendary attributes of the Japanese brand.


HONMA engineers have designed the TW-W5 wedges with a slightly larger head size and advanced high-spin performance, incorporating design features that allow golfers of different levels to benefit from higher spin. The larger clubhead size improves forgiveness through an enlarged sweet spot for better aiming and impact.

There are two elegant finishes available in this line of wedges, with a variety of bounces and sole polishes to adapt to different stroke types and swing styles with the wedge. The Chrome finish model features HONMA's exclusive and popular double milled pattern on the face, which holds and controls the ball and 'bites' it on even the finest putts, for optimal spin performance. The sophisticated Brushed Copper finish helps enhance feel, reduce glare, prevent rust and achieve unique visual appeal.

The brushed copper finished wedge features a rib-shaped relief located between the precisely milled grooves. The Full Score Line face design of these wedges allows expert players to open and close the face at will, and achieve a wide range of precision shots. With grooves that extend from heel to toe, they make it easy to use the face's versatile surface with tolerance and confidence in a variety of situations.


Golfers can experience even more spin and precision with HONMA's latest advancements through its three strategic sole options: I, C and S.


Sole I (available in lofts of 48º, 50º and 52º, each with 8º of bounce; and 54º loft with 10º of bounce): Features a slight recess on the rear edge to offer full sole performance, with an interaction improved with grass on impact.


Sole C (available in 56º, 58º and 60º lofts, each with 12º of bounce): Utilizes an aggressive trailing edge recess, from toe to heel, with a flat bounce design, and an easy-open face, to offer optimized versatility when maneuvering the shot, whether the face is open or closed.


The S Sole (available in 56º, 58º and 60º lofts, each with 8º of bounce): With a wide sole recessed in four directions, this sole offers more forgiving hits and reliable spin. This wide, full-sole design offers forgiveness and playability in a variety of sand and grass conditions.
